Why not move Election Day to Veterans Day - 11/11, each year? It’s already a court holiday. Why not make it a national holiday & make it easier for all to vote?

Everywhere in Western Europe, really. Also, ballots are often open for several days and stay open at least from 8 am to 8 pm. In Mediterranean countries, 9 or 10 pm.
