How does better pay make better teachers? Just throwing money at something doesn’tfix it. It won’t make the teachers smarter or better at their job. Pay raise is not the answer. Make sure teachers are qualified. That they can read write and do mathematics?

Betsy Devos and Charter schools are bad for our educational systems. Public schools should be federally funded and equal in offerings, regardless of income!!
I have never understood why funds are unequally distributed! I know this has been through the courts since Texas sued, but that does not mean CA can't break ground and give equal rights and equal opportunities to all kids!!!

We really should be looking at the large numbers of administrators in school districts that earn way more than teachers. Eliminate a few of them, make room for another classroom and $$ left over to increase pay for teachers. Maybe I should run for a school district seat?
