It works in about 20 nations that have universal health care and they deliver it for 1/2 the cost of the US, i.e. $5K/person instead of $10K. Americans are paying more to support drug and insurance company profits. It's obscene and unnecessary.

DMV is run by local and State governments. Medicare is Federal. Next question.

Most people that have Medicare also have supplemental insurance from... insurance companies. Because you still potentially pay a huge amount under Medicare for serious ongoing treatment.

I don’t have a supplement and still pay very little for specialists, etc. Its still way less than insurance companies
