I’ve had chronic pain for 6 yrs since my daughter was born. I have yet to find a doctor to take me seriously. I’m 38 and can’t walk up stairs. My legs hurt every single day. And every doctor I’ve seen has tried to give me an antidepressant.

I have a son with cerebral palsy. He’s 13 and in a wheelchair. I struggle to take care of him because of the pain. When I explain this to a doctor, they say my pain is caused from stress. We need to start believing women. We’re the caregivers... this country needs us.
