How do these statements increase the risk to officers? That just doesn't make any sense. Acting without racial bias doesn't put police officers at greater risk and suggesting otherwise is irresponsible.

Due respect Senator, the overwhelming & vast (admittedly redundant) majority of law enfrcmnt officers nationwide would never stop, arrest, or shoot a person b/c of skin color. There r racist Senators & politicians, does that make your character & professionalism questionable 2?

Remember why so many white men where hired as policeman 'back in the day'...to hunt down a particular race. The race hunted was mutilated, burned, and murdered. Doing this made one race feel superior to the other. Sheets have been replaced by suits.
