Maybe we shouldn't keep rents high by continuing to up the demand, immigration. Maybe we shouldn't keep wages low by continuing to up the supply, immigration. Supply and demand applies to housing and wages.

I am one of the people working in the trades. The working 3 jobs has been going on for at least a decade. Things are getting better more jobs that pay better. It's different in the trades. There are more and more jobs going to illegals which decreases pay and it is harder

Actually the people most affected by immigrants is the lower and the upper class. Because many are on one end of the spectrum: manual skills (agriculture, etc.), or highly educated (think masters, PhD) then people who lie at these extremes suffer. The middle class actually

California is your problem. They’ve created so many ridiculous regulations they’ve stifled affordable housing there. Why should the rest of American taxpayers foot the bill for that??
