What for?
Schools. Movie theaters. Banks. Places of worship. No matter where you are, you deserve to feel safe from gun violence. Mass shootings that barely make the headlines cannot become our new reality. We must pass universal background checks and ban assault weapons.

At 300+ mass shootings IT IS ALREADY our not so new reality. Look, I'm for responsible gun owners rights, but am starting to think like other countries-no guns. Or such rigid criteria virtually no one can meet it. ALL GUNS KILL, PERIOD.

Did I mention he's only in middle school? Months ago, it was my daughter at her high school, hiding under her desk during a lockdown. This must stop!!! Our kids shouldn't fear going to school.

Agree. I find GOP calculations on this issue fascinating. “Don’t blame the guns, it’s mental illness.” But when it’s drugs, they want to build a wall and don’t even mention therapy to treat addiction.

I feel safest at gun shows and the shooting range! Never heard of an active shooter at either place!!
