I’m wondering if we get to deduct a percentage of our income tax payment since the government is shut down. We could then donate the money to help the families buy groceries and pay their bills.

This is much more than just the shut down. I, and many others, deal with these choices every day. The cost of living is too high, especially for a college student.

I've had a job with a company that did not pay their employees. That lasted two pay periods before everyone left. Many left after the first missed paycheck. I agree with the notion air traffic controllers, TSA, and security shd refuse to show up. Shut down commercial air travel
