I applaud a raise but honestly people need at least that now.

Instead of $15/hr it should be min 15% of highest paid employee. So, if the CEO makes 1M, the janitor will make 150k

Less than 1% of working Americans are paid MinWage, mostly in entry level jobs. It would be great if raising MinWage did only good and no harm, but that's not the case. Raising MinWage is a cruel hoax that transfers income from many who need a job badly to a few who keep theirs.

The real MinWage on the street is always the same -- zero.

Yeah, and then make seniors, disabled, and those on fixed incomes heat dog food as the prices of everything rise to pay lower wage and new workers higher unearned salaries. Shame on this fool "Senator" who displays the negative side of insensitive, power-hungry labor unions.

Cost of living has already gone up yet minimum wage hasn't went up since 2009. Wake up!!!

This needs to also address server min wage. It was $2.13/hr in 2000 when I was a bartender. It’s still 2.13/hr.

Yeah, I know the employer is supposed to make up the difference if tips don't cover it, but I have no idea how often that actually happens.
