Darren, yes you can. Food Bank is locally organized within states and counties. Many of them have ActBlue fundraise accounts. Our son-in-law is active duty USCG. Our daughter swallowed her pride and visited the food bank event that was offered in their military housing development. Thankful for those who make it possible, and grateful to all USCG who are serving without pay.

This is the USA. Why do Gov't workers have to go to food banks and forced to work for no wages?? This is so wrong and shameful. All over a wall?? Still find it hard to believe.

Don't forget to donate when the government reopens. There's still working poor, elderly, disabled who rely on food banks, even after the government reopens and Federal employees go back to work.

Look im 13 yrs active duty military paying mortgage in the Bay Area. Last night I have to explain to my 4yrs daughter why we getting pasta instead of milk. Thank you everybody for the donations coast guard family appreciate it.

Senator: Is it true that just a handful of senators can choose a new Sen Maj Ldr & it’s only not been done since the 40s due to custom...& hopes of staying on maj’s good side? There’s no “good” left there. So: Break the useless custom. Use the Senate rules. REPLACE McCONNELL.
