#California #SB10 "elimination of bail" causes the loss of 15,000 jobs related to the bail industry. And it's creating new gov't jobs/pensions that will control who is released w/o bail and who is kept in jail w/o bail while awaiting trial; costing tax payers ~$4 billion/yr.

Most of the people in question are on remand, not convicted of a damned thing, stuck in a PRIVATE prison, put there so a judge gets a kickback and the company/individuals who OWN the prison can syphon middle class taxes to fatten their wallet on the backs of the poor.

Legitimate question - As a prosecutor, how many times did you NOT OPPOSE a bail reduction request? I’ll be shocked if the answer is more than 10.
