Yes because all Black women in the US don’t share the same “lifestyle factors”. Controlling for wealth, education, and access to resources doesn’t change the increased mortality rate

I didn’t even know that was still a thing in the US. What are the actual numbers - not statistics? How many women are dying? Is there a correlation or something in common? Ex: age ranges, number of births? Geography? Or it is just race?

There's a lot out there if you search for it, but from what I've read it comes down to an intersection of poverty, or the assumption of poverty, and a general dismissal of the suffering of women of color, especially black women.
