This is an important and overlooked point. Universities, under Fed grants research, too and then rights are granted to Pharma Cos without repaying the taxpayers.

One of my prescriptions costs $84 a pill. A pill!! And I take 3 a day. I understand pharmaceutical companies have to make $$ but there’s no regulation. Hold them accountable.

We need a National Drug Formulary Board of med professionals who meet once a year & fix the maximum retail cost per drug in the US which includes a reasonable profit. AND we need to ban all TV prescription drug ads like before the 80s to get the money away from TV gross profits

One month supply of my mother's glaucoma eye drops in the USA: $100. The EXACT SAME eye drops she buys when staying with me in the UK every summer per month: £7. Go figure. Health care for profit = no health care.
