We’re not fighting against something, but rather fighting for something: the Rent Relief Act, tuition-free college, common-sense gun safety reforms, the LIFT Act, and Medicare for All, just to name a few. It’s a fight born out of optimism — of what our country can be.

We are definitely fighting against something. It is called hatred and fear. We need to use the "For" to defeat, remove, and restore with a better appreciation.
