I thought the Affordable Care Act was to make medical care affordable to all?? Seems like that is exactly how the ACA was touted while pushing it through Congress. Remember "you have to pass it to know what's in it" from the "great" @SpeakerPelosi. Such fantastic leadership!

Blame the GOP, insurance companies, and Big Pharma for that. It would worked if they weren’t all working to make sure it fails.

A real National emergency is he number of parents burying their children from drug overdoses.
#buildthatwall There is definitely more than one national emergency. Doesn’t mean ignore one over the other. -
The vast majority of drugs trafficked across the border come thru points of entry. I agree they are a problem, I've lost family to overdoses, but the wall will do nothing to stop drug trafficking

Even Medicare costs. My pharmacy bill every month is almost $200/month. Plus the co-pay for specialist $45-90/month. Or with others in my family they have to reach a $6300/person & their pharmacy bill is outrageous! Thankful SOME

I had to change 1 of my meds bc it cost $300/mo & I'm on a fixed income! More than cable/elec/phone combined! That was just one med I take! The 'new' one is only about $55/mo. which is a lot better but still pricey. Total about $250/mo on all meds.

Health care is a national emergency. Gun violence is a national emergency. Climate change is a national emergency. People crossing the border out in the middle of nowhere is not.

I would put climate change right at the top. Nothing else matters if we aren't able to live on this planet. We can solve the other problems as well, but climate change is global.
