Can Mitch be impeached?

No he can’t but the Senate can vote to expel him... “Article I, Section 5, of the United States Constitution provides that "Each House may determine the Rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two-thirds, expel a member."

How can this one person hold that much power in the Senate? It would seem there has to be some safeguard against this.

Republicans can remove him as majority leader.

If the the Democrats are serious about re-opening the government, they will pass another bill that contains money for wall funding. Otherwise Kamala, you are just wasting everyone's time.

It's actually the
#TrumpShutdown, he said he would gladly take ownership of it. Remember, this shutdown started while Republicans had control of both houses. - 3 more replies

DJT loves his stats. He will be proud to be the prez who helped keep the government closed the longest & despite his claim that he would take responsibility, he will blame everyone but himself. You'd think Mitch could see the forest for the trees.....maybe he forgot to rake.

This whole thing is ridiculous. Reopen the government & give federal workers their lives back. Discussions about border security can resume immediately thereafter. Why is something so simple so difficult to do? McConnell is a joke.
-
It is just immoral to hold all the federal workers as hostage for negotiation.
