Um actually Dems and Republicans have made bipartisan efforts and agreements. Trump is the one standing in the way and who won’t cooperate. It’s his way or no way. That’s why he’s threatening to declare a national emergency where there is none. No one will give him the money

At this point, I think we (Dems) should ask ourselves if we are being fair with the other side. If they believe a wall will make them more secure why not giving them the money so we can all move on! At the end of the day they elected a president to do just that.

Until the government shutdown is worked out, the president, his cabinet and the entire senate and house should be required to remain in session. Also congress, along with the president and the president’s cabinet should not get paid until this is resolved.

What do we do with corporations who hire undocumented immigrants? And yes, this does exist. Trump hires immigrants and not Americans to work at his resorts. A lot of hypocrisy centered around immigration.

Today is their first paycheck. Their first. And people are cashing out 401Ks and selling their mode of transporstation? Maybe that is happening but if it is, isn’t that more a reflection on a society that is not economically prepared and less on a political manuever?
