So the feds should continue to borrow money and send it to us to subsidize our mismanagement?

The majority of CA forests are managed by the Feds

Maybe we should also stop funds to floods in Houston, where the city and state are refusing to regulate development to reduce flood damage?

Can California citizens stop paying Federal taxes now & focus on saving our people rather than a corrupt D.C.? I believe we could operate and govern in a healthier way than the circus clowns @ WH running the big show?

I believe we should consider starting by withholding/delaying the January 15 estimated Federal Tax payments (paid mostly by wealthy individuals, but also by sel-employed people). It would be interesting to see if that would jar the Feds.

Considering CA is a net contributor to the IS economy (we provide far more money to the fed than we receive) maybe we should consider not sending anymore of our tax dollars then?

combatting climate change MAY be a part of the solution. The most impactful part, the part that can have immediate results, is forest and land management. Until CA realizes this, and acts on it, CA will continue to burn, and flood.

The fires almost always start on FEDERAL land, which is the responsibility of the US interior, not the CA dept of forestry.
