The bills that passed the Senate almost unanimously were bipartisan and reasonable. They need to take another vote in this session and send it to Trump.

They did negotiate, they reached a solution, it passed the house (2 times now) and was unanimously passed by the senate. Then Trump vetoed it, and Mitch McConnell refuses to bring it to the senate for a vote. The people standing in the way are both Republicans.

Yes. They all have been asking but as long as Mitch is still the majority leader and the president keeps publicly embracing him by agreeing to sign a bill behind closed doors and then changing his mind in public, Mitch is a lame duck like Paul Ryan was.
