Elizabeth Warren has a great idea for postal service to provide basic bank services, like checking accounts, pay day loans at very low interest, savings acts. It would put predator pay day loan and check cashing stores out of business. Gives dignity an help to people struggling.
My first priority in the new Congress was to re-introduce the LIFT Act — a real tax cut for the middle class. When more than four in ten adults say they don’t have enough to cover a $400 emergency expense, Congress must act. No one should struggle just to get by.

It is not yours or Congress responsibility to take care of people. People who don’t have enough money to live on have made poor decisions have not better themselves it with education or job skills.

Just yesterday I had to use every dime of my bill money ($511) to pay my portion, after insurance, for a necessary medical procedure. So now, I'm just waiting for the cutoff notices and phone calls to start. It's just not right.
