My state does not allow minute clinics, as the majority of states do not. It cuts into hospital profits. Check out the walgreens locations if you don't believe me.

I was in overnight for kidney stones, billed $35,000 to remove 2 of 5. While there I had 2 puffs of Ventolin and was billed $100 per puff. That puts a 200-dose, $42 inhaler at $20,000

If i went to hospital to have kidney stones out it could cost me nothing

Root cause is treating illegal aliens, unemployed, underinsured and uninsured. Every part of the supply chain jacks the price to offset pro bono treatment. Not saying it is-right. Get Lawyers to work closer in real time in stead of legal time. Legal profession is the constraint.

This year I was treated for an allergic reaction at an ER in Japan. Ambulance, IV medications, Rx filled at discharge. Total bill: 12,000 ¥, about $110.

I had an emergency this past year in the Netherlands and after 5 hours in the clinic, the exam, and medications, it cost me 50$. It was amazing.

Hospitals and drug companies must be completely transparent re: their prices for services and drugs. Why can't that be done? BC they pay the politicians not to force them to be transparent.
