I voted for you, but this is one thing we disagree on. I’m on the financial side of things and have witnessed the lies that the nurses unions/ hospital worker unions spew in order to gain sympathy with the community. They promote distrust and hate and are not held acctble 4 lies.
Over and over, working people have shown that when they have power and organize, our society changes for the better. That’s why it’s critical we strengthen unions and make them available to every single worker.

I disagree
unions breed corruption as they exist today. Organizations find it difficult to fire them when they do not perform or for criminal behaviour.
What does it mean "when people have power?" -
Yes & no. It’s not the “union” but the power that corrupts. Whoever has the power, especially if that power is absolute (or even out of balance) will be corrupt. Bosses mostly have had the power, & abused it horribly. Unions somewhat changed that dynamic mostly 4 the better.

You are 100% correct! The destruction of unions parallels the destruction of the middle class. Middle class = WAGES that support home ownership, healthcare, education. Reagan DESTROYED unions; hence middle class. The GOP tax cuts of Regan, W Bush, and Trump are EVIL for workers

Unions have always been a big source of support for dems that’s the main reason they began to dismantle them. If they could knock out a big block of funding and votes all at once. It’s disgusting. They ruined people’s lives and took away their safety nets. I will never forgive it

Amen reese, I was a steward in the operating engineers, my dad was at Cat, nd my grandfather was coal mining union president for 46 years. I'd argue that unions r what actually made America great nd their demise has coincided with our fall
