This is what the people want: Pass a bill that if the Government is ever in a shutdown, all of Congress gets locked in until it is resolved. We can feed them like caged zoo animals.

Im still of the mind that in addition to sharing shutdown stories that you all should be talking about ways to change/limit the/a President's power to cause shutdowns. If there is no accountability for a President or a party & then this will continue to hurt "average Americans".

I don't think that's accurate. Congress approved a bipartisan bill that would have avoided this shutdown, but the extreme criticism from Limbaugh, Coulter & other extreme right-wing Supporters THIS PRESIDENT REFUSED TO SIGN IT! It's ALL on him!
