These pay check are and have always been paid during a shut down. They are not in jeopardy of never being paid. Your intern writing tweets should know that. Your insighting yet again with rhetoric like your always accusing @realDonaldTrump of doing. He at least admits it.
Approximately 42,000 Coast Guard members remain on duty during the government shutdown and their future paychecks are uncertain. Let that sink in: these servicemembers have defended our country. It's shameful.

My sister’s husband is in the Coast Guard. Unless they pass something or Trimp signs an executive order, they will not be paid. That is what their officers have told them.
