Federal corrections officers, Forest Service firefighters, janitors, National Weather Service forecasters, and U.S. Coast Guard members are just some of the federal employees affected by the shutdown, their lives and their futures thrown into chaos.

They do support border security, just not an ineffective, expensive wall. And they also don't support using revenue to fund a vanity project for Trump when it's clearly needed elsewhere (healthcare, education, etc.). But hey, Mexico's going to pay for it, right?

Agreed. After this last Congressional stunt, We the People need to change the rules about the upper crust people on our payroll not working and collecting a paycheck.
