@HouseDemocrats @SenateDems Try passing legislation requiring all of Congress to lose their salary during a gov't shutdown.
Because the government has shut down, around 400,000 federal employees will be forced to work without pay, and more than 380,000 will be furloughed. That includes TSA workers, Coast Guard employees, law enforcement, corrections officers, Forest Service firefighters, and more.

This would be a perfect time to see if they can work to combine jobs, get rid of overlapped jobs and cut that ridiculous number down by half. The federal government is ridiculously too large.

Cry me a river, Kamala. Look at what you did with SB10. You support taxpayer funded catch and release at $3.8 BILLION a year, so don't tell us that the poor Gov workers won't get paid. We WILL stop SB10 as you can already see. Just step down already.
