Here’s the quantifiable truth: America’s marijuana laws are not applied or enforced in the same way for all people. We can’t let our country keep making the same mistakes of the past — it’s time to legalize marijuana at the federal level.

And retroactive - drop all marijuana convictions across the country and update individual sentences based on the change in status. If someone is in prison for only a marijuana charge, let them go.

I don't believe her bc when she was AG in CA, she fought to keep non-violent drug offenders in prison bc the state needed to use their "free" labor. Essentially slavery. She's a

In the U.S., people of color are arrested nearly 4x as often as white people for possession of marijuana. It is TIME to change that.
