Be real, they get paid just not necessarily on time. Tell the whole truth....
Threatening to hold the government hostage over an unrealistic border wall is despicable. Approximately 400,000 federal employees would be forced to work without pay and more than 380,000 employees will be furloughed right before the holidays. It’s completely avoidable.

Apparently, you are not a government employee, or related to one? Do you live from paycheck to paycheck? Shutdowns hurt a LOT of people. Even IF they get paid, it doesn't happen until the shutdown is over. So Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or what ever trips your, "trigger."

Then pay for the wall. Most of these workers are "non-essential." Why do we have non-essential employees when the US government is $21 trillion in debt?

Non-essential employees keep our food and drugs safe (FDA/USDA), manage disease outbreaks (CDC), conduct cancer research (NIH), etc. All have a greater return on investment than a wall. Then again, what's wrong with a little E.coli over the holidays?
