Health insurance does not equal health care @KamalaHarris. Most families would do better using their high premium dollars to pay cash for health care services. Especially considering most insurances are not kicking in until high deductibles are met.

Out-of-pocket cost for my last echocardiogram in the USA: ~$10,600.00. Cost negotiated by my health insurance provider: ~$3,700.00 (of which I paid ~$900). Cost negotiated by universal healthcare (for Canadian Medicare): ~$2,300.00 (of which I would pay $0).

@RealSteveCox shall we eat our previous tweets? -
No. This is a political, not ideological, move. It’s to help her progressive street-cred to get her the Dem presidential nomination. After which, she’ll back off on it and make excuses about why it’s just not feasible right now. Just like always.

Insurance companies is what caused the explosive rise in health care costs in the 1st place. A cap needs to be put on the Medical & pharmaceutical industry. 3000% markups on meds is ridiculous. $20 epi-pens now cost over $600 & no one sees the REAL problem?

That would certainly help but the only real solution is to remove profit from suffering in the

That is because the government is profiting and prices radically increase by 45-75% a year!!!! Stop the government profit and help us all to afford insurance. Government should NOT profit from our personal insurance.
