Perhaps this is why many, many rapes are NEVER reported. A victim doesn't want to go thru the additional trauma of being questioned & going thru gathering of evidence. Many victims feel they can just forget the experience. However, it will haunt them for the rest of their lives.

I was a CHILD victim...by 2 diff people. But I never reported it out of fear and shame. If I had been older & actually reported it, & this happened, . WTF is wrong with “adults/authorities”

In Maricopa County AZ our former Sheriff Arpaio never even looked at >400 rape kits of even little girls.Too busy you see arresting people for driving while brown to mess with dirty old men raping little girls or any woman for that matter. He should be in jail for that himself!

Crimes against women are not important or taken seriously, especially sex crimes. Attitudes and beliefs need to catch up with technology to successfully prosecute sex crimes.
