A majority of those guns used in crimes in those states are the result of the surrounding states not having or enforcing the same laws. I do, however, agree that we can’t be entirely like Australia b/c if we can’t keep drugs from coming in from the South, how will we stop guns?

“Evolving with the threat” as you put it - would bring us all back to the Wild West days. Are you kidding? Only those who live by the gun should be dying by the gun, but unfortunately that’s not the case. Try watching just one of the videos in its entirety.
