I lived in Calif for 12 years in the late 1960s and '70s. Had wildfires EVERY year and severe droughts too. Tree huggers refused to allow proper forest management then. The Paradise High School survived the recent fire - no trees within 300' is why.
It’s alarming this Administration refuses to act on climate change. It's alarming that Gov. Brown slashed funds in California's budget that dealt with fire prevention and clearing out brush etc that would have massively reduced the chances of a forest fire.

Yes and he (the Gov.) didn't have much to say when he was in Paradise with the President when POTUS said it was because of environmental regulations and poor forest mgmt. He was Gov when huge fire destroyed Tahoe 10+yrs ago & still nothing learned.
