Progress doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time. The gains we make may be incremental at times but that doesn’t mean we stop fighting. As Coretta Scott King told us so long ago: the fight for justice and the fight for civil rights must be fought and won with each generation.

Equality under the law - innocent until proven guilty, given to all, equal pay in all jobs - lack of it deters women, equality in hiring - there is discrimination still and someone should not have to keep searching because of their ethnicity or religion or how their name sounds.
