Yes! I was a polling place inspector in Orange County in 2016 and we didn't have this option. Many people were turned away who didn't know they had to register. Proud of our SoS

At my polling place on a college campus in San Francisco, the poll workers were telling students they couldn't do this. I called the city election office to report it.
