I lost a patient in the ER last week from a drug overdose. His life could've been saved, but the criminalization of drugs in place of treatment impede people's efforts to seek help. We need publically funded drug recovery programs, not prison.

I agree. I lost a family member. He couldn’t get medications/help for pain & PTSD. He sought rx drugs on the street & died the first time. A harm-reduction program & safe meds would have saved his life. He was 27.

Prohibition doesn't work. History taught us that with alcohol and we ended up with the mafia. Now we have the drug cartel.

Do you realize how many good black youth have been jailed for what good white youth do every day? It’s gonna be a tough road with white nationalists in power

I need it medically for pain control.

Many people use it as adjudevant therapy along with opiods, as it enhances the pain relief effects & keeps it effective at a lower dosage. Or instead of as well. Insane how some states want to make it an either/or proposition.

It sure would save a bunch of money. Legalizing in each state plus fighting in court is expensive for both levels of govt. It's well past time to end this prohibition.
