And our family will be dropping our ACA insurance next year. We can no longer see a reason to spend $25,000 a year on premiums with a $17,000 deductible. We can just pay cash and end up at a better place.

I’m in a similar boat with premiums going up in January. I got injured this spring & so paid up all my $6K deductible. Then my co went out of business, so I had to get new insurance with a NEW $6K deductible WITH. THE. SAME. INSURANCE. COMPANY!

Seriously, the GOP can't be clearer in their threats. If they retain control of both chambers of Congress, the ACA is a toast. And, they plan brutal cuts to earned-benefits of Social Security and Medicare, as well as Medicaid.
