Your understanding of actual economics is appaling. If minimum wage is increased ALL prices of products made or delivered by those that get the increased wage also go up as well as the governments tax revenue. What is your actual intention?

I agree that would happen. I also think tht would essentially mean that real mortgages and student debts would vastly decrease due to inflation. Maybe that would be a positive? At least in the short term?

I understand how this makes sense for California given its high min wage. However, how will this not destroy the economies of some other states where living wage is below $10 an hour? This is the question I become hung up on when discussing a significant min wage increase.

I think we need better financial literacy and savings methods than a higher minimum wage.
