Are you just pretending not to understand the difference between state and federal crimes?

Am I correct in assuming this is symbolic legislation more than anything? What's next? Legislation federally outlawing witch trials?
-
No. Didn't anyone tell you not to assume?

How about the kind of political lynching you and the democrats tried to do to Kavanaugh.
-

kavanaugh 'lynched' himself with all the lies! It will catch up to him soon!
Lynching POC is a deliberate crime, planned, not often do you find people carrying around ropes tied up for lynching just to the store, school, church, etc. It is a premeditated murder.

Wait....lynching leads to death which makes the lynching a means of murder. How is that not ALREADY a federal offense?
-
There are a few exceptions, but generally murder is a state crime. https://www.wklaw.com/10-ways-murder-becomes-a-federal-crime/ …

Like, seriously, why? Have you and
@SenBooker finished working on articles of impeachment, an end to mass deportation and federal laws against police brutality already? Have you forgotten that California has used anti lynching laws against Black women TWICE? Smh.. -
S.2794 (the Senate version of the Protect and Serve Act) is still in committee, last I heard. Really eager to see how
@KamalaHarris and@SenBooker will vote on it when it comes up....
