For people who wonder why it matters Water stays frozen from 0 (and below) all the way up to 32 deg but at 32+ a little it melts. The earth is at this same tipping point where raising the avg temp just a little more means a lot of very old ice in the caps melt and seas rise ALOT

The loss of the ice also means that ocean currents between hot equator and icy poles also change which drastically affects the weather. Some places will still be cold but not cold enough to balance the searing heat seen elsewhere affecting crops.

Right at the moment the world needed to make drastic changes to save the future of humanity, a cabal of ignorant, theocratic & corrupt climate deniers takes over the U.S. and kills us all. Sounds like sci-fi but we’re living it.

Isn't it true that the Trump administration actually believes this data but are basically saying "who cares, we billionaires will survive it while the rest of you suffer"? That's how I interpret their attitude.

We need a WWII-style Climate Mobilization NOW. Whichever Dem takes this up first will have a huge advantage in 2020.
@MobilizeClimate -
Very true! https://truthout.org/articles/the-coming-thunder-of-the-climate-change-voter/ … Conservatives who get real on climate will also have a big advantage: https://youtu.be/D99qI42KGB0
