42 years after my abuse stopped, 26 years after I finally told my mother that her brother was the perpetrator of that abuse, I will start counseling in two weeks to deal with it, finally. They couldn't get me in sooner. Thank you #DrFord, you gave me the strength to seek help.

I was 7, 8, 12, 14, and 19. This past month, I couldn’t even breathe. Today, to finding out Kavanaugh was confirmed, I was told I’m nothing but a mere sex object. It’s what men expect of us. I choose to rise above it all. I will not be used anymore.
