I read the zero tolerance guidance policy. It merely stated to fully enforce the laws on the books and that it wasn’t to usurp existing laws or guidance. Don’t try and mislead people to believing that it changed policy.

I’m a democrats and an immigrant myself and a citizen, but why are these ppl coming with little kids?... why not take responsibility for themself? Why not do it in a legal way like Myself and other ppl who have done it all over the world?...

I'm not sure but thought I read an article referring to DHS that was dated back in February pertaining to the implementation of the Zero Tolerance Policy. The separation policy if I'm not mistaken was alluded to then!
