My mom is undergoing treatment right now. She caught it early at borderline Stage 2 and was able to begin taking the 5 year pill following a month long radiation treatment protocol. So far, so good.

Early detection doesn't save lives when it comes to breast cancer. 30% of women will die of metastatic breast cancer. This stat hasn't changed in DECADES. It doesn't matter if a person is diagnosed at stage 1a or stage 3c. Early diagnosis does not increase survivability.
