Bet my last dollar young people would be more engaged if they knew Congress was honorable, and capable of creating legislation into rule of law that kept them honorable, and placed America first.

I believe that's true. First election I voted in at 21 (in those days) was for Teddy Kennedy for JFK's Senate seat. I have not missed one single election local or national since then. Let's get that virus to spread.

We were taught early how to vote in my elementary school in Ohio. I voted on the old lever machines in a mock election in sixth grade between Kennedy and Nixon. I voted for Kennedy. Nixon won. I’ve been a lifelong Dem.

As a new voter in the 80's, it was years before anyone I cast a vote for actually won! My sense of civic duty kept me going.
