Senator @CoryGardner and I introduced the Accountability in Opioid Advertising Act yesterday, which would direct the FDA to provide greater oversight to opioid advertising. There needs to be more transparency and accountability to ensure consumers aren’t misled.

How about rolling back the legislation allowing direct marketing of pharmaceuticals to consumers (yeah, that used to be banned) AND banning all physicians in active practice from receiving "incentives", "consultant fees", or other financial remuneration from big pharma?
