That means voting Democrat. That means registering to vote. That means volunteering for a campaign. That means being dedicated to the proposition of the nation itself: that all men (and women) are created equal… Not merely the millionaires and billionaires.
It’s time to expand on the progress we celebrate on Labor Day. That means fighting to raise the federal minimum wage, make public colleges and universities tuition-free, and guarantee everyone in America has health care.

Just curious, how will you pay for public colleges and universities? If it’s free, that means they have self-sustaining revenue and it’s not coming from our tax dollars. Otherwise it’s not free, we’re paying for it, and you’re misleading everyone.

People who make a million dollars per year are now getting at least another $70K because of the tax cut. My numbers are not exact but think about what half of that money could do for we the people. We are getting ripped off HARD.

In the time between LBJ and Reagan, college was heavily subsidized. They believed an educated populace to be an asset. When I started at a state college in 1974, tuition was $18.50 per credit hour! Reagan changed that with Republicans pushing governors to change.

Having healthcare and spending over 50% of your income to having healthcare are two different things. I wish democrats would give us millennials something worth voting for, my doctor visit to the ER without insurance would have cost me $250, even $45 set me back

Why did you oppose police body cameras as California Attorney General? Why did you oppose a bill that would have required the investigation of fatal police shootings? Why didn’t you prosecute Steve Mnuchin when your own office recommended it?
