It's tough to admit implicit bias in life and unfortunately some embrace that bias and turn it into hatred and bigotry.

How could you possibly know that implicit bias is the root cause? Declaring an answer based on your preferences and anecdotal evidence isn't how science works and it shouldn't drive policy.
-
Because there has been plenty of research in this space. Implicit bias and deficit ideaologies - anecdotal or not - has driven public policy in the other direction for decades.

you're correct, sis, but paradoxically it is that same implicit bias in our health care system that has largely insulated the

It's not just black women, the US ranks 2nd in the world for women dying after giving birth, India ranks 1st. Doctors need to stop inducing labor & scheduling c-sections for their convenience it's killing the mothers!

No woman should die birthing a child in the developed world. No woman should die choosing not to birth a child either. More reasons to vote to fully fund healthcare for all.
-
I don’t disagree that we all deserve healthcare. But thinking no one would die from child birth even with optimal care is insanely unrealistic
