I wish no one ill and have sympathy for his family, but he was no hero. In fact he was a traitor (#USSLiberty) and a warmongering hawk responsible for the deaths of many. The world is a safer place with his passing.
My colleague John McCain will be remembered as a devoted father and husband, war hero and a conscience of the Senate. Sending my condolences and prayers to his friends and family, and to the American people who have lost a true patriot.

As a lifelong Democrat, I have always had great respect for John McCain. I did not agree with his politics, but knew that he was always a man of integrity and loved his country. He was everything that DJT is not.
