1. Increasing minimum wage results in low-skilled young workers either being laid off or never getting a first job to build their skills for a better paying job later. Democrats always find ways to exacerbate problems while pretending to solve them.
People across the country are feeling the pinch of stagnant wages that have not grown with the rising cost of housing, gas, and tuition. That is why I support raising the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour.

how about rental and housing caps for California? I make great money but RENT is out of control.

And that sort of thinking is slowly making it's way into the nation. Eventually, it's the 15 an hour is going to need to be raised again just to handle that factor alone.

The problem is, raise those wages and prices raise. That's all well and good if helps some people keep up. But people like me, living on a fixed income, won't see a raise in our income, only in our housing, purchases, etc. I'm a widow on permanent disability.

It’s time to take care of the shrinking middle class. We need money for infrastructure, education, and healthcare. No more totally supporting the total rich or extreme poor. It divides us. There should be care for all of us.

I support a minimum wage that is automatically adjusted yearly for inflation and cost of living increases. This should be permanent and not at the mercy of sociopathic congress members.
