In MS if you become disabled you have to wait 2 yrs to qualify for Medicaid. So if your chk isn’t enough, you have no medical care, even though it’s a medical condition that makes you disabled

Indiana my brother couldn’t get insurance because he’s diabetic, he couldn’t get Medicaid to help with his eye surgery & went blind, now he gets Medicaid, but hasn’t been able to work. So backwards.
