Hear! Hear! The most important issues for millions are this and Medicare for All. Republicans tried all of the scams to get at the
$T in the Social Security Fund and have failed. Now they want to kill it. They won’t give a dime more, but they’ll gladly live off yours. -
They've already dipped into it to pay for something they just passed, and they want to deplete it to pay for the military parade & the fricken wall. SS is not broke, it had a surplus, where did all those funds go?

Anyone relying solely on SS may be living somewhere, BUT IT'S CERTAINLY NOT WITH DIGNITY. SS needs to be increased considerably for that promise to be kept.

Time for retirees do some
#communitybuilding. Start businesses. Sell goods and services. advertise. bring pride to young people. Seeing success and being able to reach goals because people around them not only tell'em but shows'em=more disposable income for retirees and community - 1 more reply

Just return every dime I paid into it. Every dime my deceased brother and husband never collected and I can manage my own retirement fund. Stop taking it out of my check.

Have Social Security be optional and run under the same regulations as private retirement funds and the problem is fixed.
